Company Introduction
The name of the association is the Private Transport Association of Ghana of TUC hereinafter referred to as “PTAG”. It is a national road transport organization, which upholds the interests of bus, coach, taxi and truck operators to ensure economic growth and prosperity via the sustainable mobility of people and goods by road in Ghana and beyond. It is non-political, non-racial, non-religious and non-ethnic association.
The PTAG, as the national voice of the road transport industry, works towards achieving the twin goals of Sustainable Development and Facilitation of road transport nationwide. However, the PTAG is not merely an industry with interest group but defends the interests of economy and society as a whole. Indeed, the road transport industry is the backbone of strong economies and dynamic societies.
To bring all stakeholders of Private Transport Association of Ghana together for the pursuit of a common development agenda.
Strengthen membership associations to play effective supportive role to PTAG.
To monitor, co-ordinate and manage the activities of the various stakeholder institutions of the Transport Industry.

To ensure the provision of practical services and information, to road transport operators, such as the latest fuel prices, waiting times at borders, secure parking areas, road towing and ambulance systems, professional training, legislative developments, legal assistance, etc.
To offer training to promote professional competence in the sector, improve the quality of services it offers and ensure compliance of road transport training standards with national and international legislation, through our partners internationally.
